Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet, welches im Preis inbegriffen ist, hatte eine gute Auswahl. Das kleine Onsen hat uns sehr gefallen.

The staff was really kind and helped me straight away by showing where I could go to explore Nago, as well as helping me find information on star tours that they translated and printed for me. This was done by Uehara-san, whom was very nice, professional and making sure everything was covered. I also appreciated the other 3 staff members I often saw when going out during the golden week time yesterday and the day before. There is breakfast available and you can receive a ticket for it the day before. The keys are also held by the staff to avoid losing them. They have their own “onsen” on the top floor, 9th floor, which was really nice to go to. They provide with shavers and combs and lotions for the skin (which I had thought would be in the room or amenities too), making a really well functioning experience for people that want to get clean then just bathe for a short while. Women and men are separated, it’s a bit cold with the open rooftop but the warmth is alright. The property is a short distance from the Nago a community Bus and the Yanbaru, but limits you to the just outside the central part of Nago by location, which is a bit tiresome to compensate by walking compared to other destinations. I also loved Agarie Beach and being able to walk at short distance to have a quick swim in or contemplate the sunsets. The mascot Ruton is also really really cute and it’s nice to see it all over the place. Last but not least I’m thankful for the help provided by the staff and the continuos greetings and salutations, great work during the golden week, much respect for how you handled everything

The reason for the passable pleasant rating is that the room had several issues: it smelled genuinely of mold, there were stains on the entrance to the bathroom of the same, the electric outlet ended up coming off the wall, and the sink with switch (my nemesis number one) was leaking water that would have me constantly try to out it toward the bathtub. The water also didn’t taste good, and I ended up sick from my stay with a sore throat and shivers/cold, which happened also in Scotland when I stayed at an older location. While I reported the issues to the hotel staff arrangements for repairs were made but apparently never came. This was the main letdown of the facility, the rundown bathroom sink, moldy air and stains, resulting in me sick and writing this review while feeling very tired and achey in another hotel. Another letdown was that the breakfast was not labeled enough in my opinion. You have stickers detailing the names, but unfortunately no stickers to tell you if what you’re eating might contain fish or meat or other allergens like milk and eggs. Some Japanese people were as confused as me with checking the contents, then tried on their own some things (the pig ears out right next to the veggies might be a poor choice for unattentive people). In all of this however the staff were ready to help even and answered all the questions, which I’m grateful for. If stickers or different prints of different colors could be made to label vegetarian, vegan, fish and meat products it would make everyone’s life easier (for the staff and customers and give a more streamlined experience since other hotels do this. As for the electricity there wasn’t much charge going through the usb port and cables, and they warned against using kettle and hair dryer together. The hotel also reported incidents with charging devices being on fire while connected to the hotel, which made me feel kinda anxious about my own devices, but in the end it worked out.
