Lovely location , comfortable rooms

Bathroom wasn't that clean , brown scum where the marble meets the skin in the bathroom and joints of tiles the same Hairdryer didn't work and had to go into my daughters room to use hers .. At breakfast I had put bread in the toaster and while waiting I put butter on a side plate ready for the toast, a waitress came over took the plate throw the butter back into the basket and put the plate back on the pile of other plates...2 things here 1 she must have known that someone was waiting for toast as I was stood next to it 2 obviously a customer must have taken the plate and placed the butter there , making it a used plate which should not have been placed back on a clean pile ..

I recently stayed at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel with my family , and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, a kind lady checked us in early and mentioned breakfast was included. Later, Shane took over the evening shift, had to call the reception to ask about menus coz I wanted to make reservations for room service the next morning . He told me I didn’t need a menu and could just dial zero in the morning. However, the next day, the phone wouldn’t work. I called on my personal phone at least five times, but it went to an automated message. When I went to the reception, there was no one there. After waiting about 10 minutes, I finally spoke to Endrit, who was dismissive. She told me it was too late to book and that I’d have to go get breakfast myself. She also asked if I knew I had to pay for it, as if I hadn’t been willing. At every step, the communication was inconsistent, and I was more than ready to pay. Ultimately, the dismissive attitude and lack of service were really frustrating. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests don’t have the same experience.

I was on holiday with my husband,, Son and my Sister. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The accommodation also had 2 bathrooms, a sitting room and facilities for making tea and coffee and it had a fridge. There was also a microwave. It was perfect for us as it allowed us to be together instead of renting 3 hotel rooms. Upon checking into the hotel I requested breakfast to be added to our stay. The receptionist very kindly added breakfast without any additional charge. Great customer service :-)
