Beautiful family run hotel, bedroom comfortable. I had a beautiful meal in the bar restaurant and it was excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Within walking distance of town with free and safe parking.

"Find somewhere else to stay"

Ample parking. Comfortable bed.

Hotel absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. They make a deal about having non-smoking rooms yet sell cigarettes in the lobby so the whole place smells. The radiator made a constant knocking sound all night long - nothing we tried stopped it. This wasn’t an expensive hotel, just a spot to sleep before heading to the airport in the morning, but still not worth what we spent.

"No surprises here"

OK 3* hotel. Large triple room. Lumpy beds. Hot cooked buffet breakfast. No facilities for coeliac or diabetic guests. Low fat sweetened yogurts, fruit salad in sweetened syrup. Basic breads. Yogurt and berries needed as well as a choice of seeded breads. Didn't eat dinner here. Staff do their job well.

"Great place for a weekend away"

Really enjoyed our stay at the Shamrock Lodge, All the staff were really friendly and helpfull, We had a beautiful Room. The Princess Grace Room, We eat in the dining room on our first night,Food was really good and service fantastic, We really enjoyed the music in the bar on Saturday night , it was more of a singalong than music Blaring at you, Bartenders were friendly and the service was great , Overall I would highly recommend the Shamrock Lodge,
