Sokhalay Angkor Villa Resort

The villa room was not available for the first of two nights. It was blamed on overbooking. They provided a free meal to make up for it. Excellent staff and service on site and provided great concierge service to set up tour guide and driver!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sokhalay, special mention to Pheng who was very helpful and a great host. The hotel facilities, room, restaurant and bar were simply wonderful. Very nice to sit around the pool at night and have a drink or dip! I loved the place so much I have recommended friends stay and I will go back to stay at this resort!

Nice, many ammenities. Great breakfast Buffett. Great pools. However, rooms too dark due to poor lightening and surrounded by trees and dark interior furnishings. More light, brighter lights needed. Friendly staff. Too far from city, shopping, and other restaurants. Had to take tuk tuk to center of city. Hotel located outside of city.

Friendly and helpful staff, location is very near to the airport. Comfortable room, nice facilities.

I really enjoyed staying here, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We were upgraded to a pool view room. The room was comfortable however the balcony lazy boys were wooden with no cushions supplied. The food was nice and the breakfast was diverse, catering for everyone. The major down side for me was the internet connection. They say free wifi however it never really worked even when I went down to the lobby.

It's a great villa resort with beautiful swimming pool, national bungalow stile rooms, which are very comfortable, nice bathrooms and really good attentive staff.

This is a beautiful hotel. The gardens and ponds are lovely. Poolside bar was fun. Food was good. Main restaurant is also lovely. Service is extraordinary. On day 1 the server guessed that we would appreciate espresso coffee and served it to us every morning thereafter. The manager came by to check and ensure that we were satisfied. Great selection in the breakfast buffet. Room was lovely and very comfortable. This place was divine after a long day of walking the many magnificent temples in the area. We stayed an extra day just to relax at the hotel!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Truly a great deal more than we were expecting. We will definitely return.

I just loved this Hotel! The rooms are huge, the price was great! It fits perfectly in the quite city of Seim Reip!
