Placid Village

We rented a 3-bed apartment and it was VERY spacious. More than enough room for a family of 4. Excellent air-con in all rooms. Rooms modern and well-appointed. Rooms clean and serviced every day. Towels freshened whenever you needed (and great pool towels were provided within the apartment) Good range of crockery, utensils, etc in the kitchen. Dishwasher, washing machine, iron, ironing board - all good standard. Hairdryer in the 2nd bathroom looked okay (but the filter was caked in dust - needs cleaning regularly) Toiletries provided in bathrooms of a good standard (shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand wash/lotion) Showers were powerful and lots of hot water (except on our last day when we had no water until 2:30pm - not accommodation's fault but still not ideal as was not advised in advance, and we were heading to the airport at 4 for our flight home) A EUR 5 taxi ride into Carvoeiro (very convenient). Nice tidy pool area with ample beds in May.

1. No mirrors in the bedrooms. Even though there were desks/dressing tables in two of the bedrooms, there were no vanity mirrors with them. This meant having to use the bathroom mirrors or the giant mirror in the hallway, which was not ideal. 2. 'Double beds' were just two singles pushed together (no fitted sheet linking them) and the floor is slidey so the beds moved apart if you ventured towards the middle. 3. LOADS of hanging storage space but there were hardly any clothes hangers - what is the point of all those rails if you have nothing to hang your clothes on. 4. Would have been great if the bar had been open late May

Das Doppelbett war leider für zwei groß gewachsene Personen sehr schmal.

Excelentes instalaciones, muy tranquilo y estratégicamente ubicado para recorrer no sólo Carvoeiro, sino que todos los lugares del Algarve. El departamento estaba muy equipado y estuvimos muy cómodos en nuestra estancia.

No tuvo puntos bajos.

The apartment was spacious and clean, located in a quiet area, well equipped with everything that travelers might need.

Fabulous location, great apartment clean, well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing breakfast, great variety and choice, delivered to your room off peak season at a time to suir you and exactly on time every morning. Lovely friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.
