Hotel Castillo de Javier

The hotel is conveniently located on a vibrant street with shops and tapas bars. I was in a single room on the fourth floor - no 42. The room was tiny with the bed pushed up against the wall. Nowhere to put a suitcase without tripping over it. (I saw that other rooms had a bench to place a suitcase where mine had a small wardrobe.) The bathroom was larger than expected for the room size. Room and bathroom were clean. The shower water was scaldingly hot and could not be adjusted. I ended up using the shower of someone else in the group. I had a room with a window opening onto the interior courtyard. Unfortunately hotel guests on the first floor had a door that opened onto the courtyard and sat there drinking and talking loudly till after midnight. Fellow travellers complained to the front desk and were told that the men were ‘just talking’. The internet dropped out continuously. There was no safe in the room.

Super accueil, personnel très attentif. Hôtel très calme et bien situé pour visiter la ville.

Easy to find using satnav. In best street for bars & tapas. Central in old city. Discounted parking. English speaking reception. Staff very helpful.

Bedrooms a little dated but not really problem.

Buena ubicación en calle muy céntrica con mucho ambiente, pese al ruido en la calle la insonorización de la habitación es muy buena y no se escuchaba nada dentro.

La habitación muy pequeña sin apenas espacio para pasar ni dejar las maletas, lo que la hacia incomoda para moverse. Para el precio que hemos pagado, esto la hacia muy cara relación calidad/precio.

Petit hôtel en plein centre de la ville dans une rue animée par de nombreux et excellents bars à tapas. Accord de orix avec le parking Castillo pour stationner la voiture. Chambre à l'arrière très calme. Propre et entretenu, buffet de petit déjeuner parfait
