Central location great for a stay before your early morning ferry

The Scot Hotel is central, 10 minute walk from the harbour. It had good parking. The staff were efficient and friendly. Our room was very comfortable, the facilities were modern and it was very clean. The Nespresso coffee machine in the room was a nice surprise as were the complimentary Tunnocks teacakes and water . The breakfast was also good.

The apartment no 2 was ideal for our party of two couples. The decoration was fabulous, spotlessly clean and spacious. We booked breakfast in the main hotel for both mornings and the food was spot on. All the staff we dealt with at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was no problem for both our cars and no extra charge! We have stayed in the main hotel before but had never stayed in the apartments……..We will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at The Scot…..*****

The hotel room was of a very high quality finish. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the pillows were gorgeously soft and they had beautiful locally made toiletries in the bathroom.

It was a little noisy as our room was on a.main road
