Pool. Andrew. Breakfast.

Upon our 9:15 pm arrival in the pouring rain, I was told that my room wasn't ready. And that there wasn't another room available with two beds. In my party was my sister and our two granddaughters, 9 and 10 years old. I said Well, we have a situation. Andrew went up to room 316 to check the room. He came back and reported that it was clean. Up we go. We try to shut the blinds but we can't because the cord is broken. Back downstairs I go to tell Andrew. I'm given a flat sheet and a fitted sheet to put over the window. All this happening at 10:30 at night. I told Andrew I'm very disappointed with this Hampton Inn and that I spent $250 for this experience. I have pictures of us hanging our sheets. When I checked out in the morning and stated that I'd left the sheets in the window for them to see, her response was without really looking at me OK, I'll make a note. Oh, gee, thanks.

Good location for us. Available parking. Not noisy. Great bed.

Could not turn on shower without being sprayed with cold water first.

Location was great. Easy to reach from the interstate. The restaurant we had dinner at was right across the street from the hotel. We were able to walk there.

We were seeing a show at the Carolina Theater and needed a pet friendly hotel nearby. This hotel has a $75 pet fee. It was pretty nice overall. Seemed pretty clean which is especially important to me when I travel with my pup because he eats everything he finds on the floor. They had a nice free breakfast. Room was quiet. My biggest downside was that we were on the 6th floor and the WiFi wouldn’t really connect to our floor. We bring a pet cam to keep an eye on him and wasn’t able to get more than a couple of bars to even get it to set up. Oddly enough the main lobby didn’t really seem to have good connection either so I think maybe the WiFi was just poor overall. Other than that the hotel was great. It was close to where we were looking for a good value for us.

Clean, modern hotel rooms and convenient location. Soft water and great water pressure were much appreciated.

Pillows and mattresses were not the most comfortable. Did not like the sausage patties at breakfast, prefer link sausage or crispy bacon. Coffee was great!
