Fairfield by Marriott Los Cabos

Really great experience at the Fairfield in Cabo. The rooms were on the smaller size, but we had a big, comfortable king bed. Everything was recently renovated and very clean. The included breakfast was fresh and tasty, front desk had excellent service, and was a 10-15 minute walk from the mall/marina. Would definitely recommend!

It was a pet friendly hotel but had no accommodations for my dog.

The staff are very helpful and pleasant.

It’s VERY NOISY. There is a loud music coming from a bar across the street every single night from 8pm until around 2am. If you’re not a party animal, it will bother your rest and sleep. I had to sleep with my noise cancellation EarPods every night and I am not that kind of person very sensitive. I asked the front desk to change mg room but they said the hotel was busy and they didn’t have any availability for the remain of the 3 days I would still stay there.

Hot breakfast daily. Heated swimming pool. Very good housekeeping. It was close to attractions, bus transportation, restaurants, wharf, city centre and beach. The weather was perfect!

Sidewalks were in disrepair on streets

Unbearably loud noise. Impossible to sleep in rooms from 9pm to 4am. Breakfast was not good.

I liked that it was quiet.

There was a party at the hotel, they were very loud until 3 am.

Hospitality was good, everything was very clean and neat. People and location were fine other than the loud clubs keeping us up all night.

There are very loud clubs and we were unable to sleep the first three nights. We were finally able to move to the "quiet side" of the hotel. We were considering leaving and asking for a refund.

First surprise was during check in. We reserved through Expedia making sure the property is pet friendly by checking the option. We paid the room rate however upon checkin to the hotel they asked for an extra 35 USD for having a pet in the room. That was definitely a surprise. Nowhere it mentioned that there will be rate above the room rate for pets. Since I checked the option in Expedia you would expect the rate would include the pet charge. The second even bigger surprise is there is a restaurant across the street that plays very loud music. We asked the reception desk and the guy said this music goes on until 4 am. We had been travelling all day and exhausted so needless to say that didn’t go down so well with us. We asked for another room on the other side of the building away from the restaurant but there was nothing available. The guy at reception was trying to be helpful. He ended up moving to a room a little further away but everyone should be aware when booking at this hotel that the music is so loud there is no way you can get a good nights sleep. The place is clean though and the rooms are acceptable.
