Sunny C Hotel

Hotel is centrally located within walking distance to many sights. Plenty of restaurants close by. We had a hugh room in 6th floor with a view over the roofs of Hue to the cathedral. Breakfast was the best up to now in Vietnam especially because it was served in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful and Tom and Phuong did everything to let us enjoy our stay in Hue. Would stay here again anytime.

Have been staying in this little hotel now almost 2 weeks now anc continuing to stay more. The staff is very nice. The room is spacious and clean and the bed is extremely comfy. The hotel is on a small street away from the street noise of Hai Ba Trung street. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the main tourist area but it it very safe to walk during evenings also. The value is so much better outside the tourist area, especially at this hotel. You are i the middle of normal people´s life here and there are many cheap places to eat local food and it´s short walk to the river side. Definitely recommend!

This hotel is a little bit out of the way, about a 5-10 minute ride to town but don't let that stop you. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean and the surrounding streets were nice to walk around to get a feed or coffee.

Me and my friends stayed at Sunny C for 10 weeks while studying at the nearby university of medicine and pharmacy. Staff was very friendly all the time, helped with booking tours, hotels, came with suggestions where we could go etc. They even helped plan my birthday celebration that my friend was doing, caught me completely by suprise during breakfast on my birthday when the staff came in and sang happy birthday! It is located maybe 10 min walk from the perfume river, and maybe 15 min walk from the main tourist quarters. But the street is really quite during the nights so that makes up for the distance to certain tourist places. Big rooms with nice bathrooms, beds are huge. AC unit worked perfectly. Bonus: Worth of note is also the local food place just down the street to the left from the hotel, on the left corner, you have to try their Phở bò (Beef noodle soup) for just 25 000 Dong or Phở Gà (Chicken noodle soup) for 30 000 Dong. We ate it almost everyday for all our 10 weeks.

I booked using agoda.com based on reviews. The staff was extremely helpful. Rented us motorbikes. Gave us maps and local info. Bed was very comfortable, maybe latex...deep...got great sleep. WIFI worked fine. Air conditioning worked fine Rooms were clean. No wildlife. Breakfast was both cheap and tasty. Well located close to bridge to Imperial City. Restaurants are nearby, though Hue has lots of options. This is good value hotel.

外人街からは離れるが一部英語メニューあるレストランで貝を主に海産物。周りにローカル食堂は多数。むしろ王宮には外人街より近い。快適な滞在。

Just back from visiting Hue in Vietnam , stayed in sunny C for 3 days , myself and my husband had a great time 😊 the staff couldn't do enough for us they really went out of there way to make sure we had a good time , Tomo the manager was just so helpful , we had a lovely fresh breakfast and fresh fruit brought to our room every morning it was delicious 😊 nothing was to much trouble for them , it was very cheap hotel and great location , I would highly recommend this hotel, if your looking for cheap and cheerful 😊 plenty of restaurants in the location . I've read several reviews and I will echo the general opinion of it being very great and effecient for the money. We got this deal through Hotwire and was surprised by the vastness of room, cleanliness, shower space, and friendliness of ladies @ desk. Unlike what I read in reviews about free pick-ups @ train station and transport to hotel, we saw none of that. We didn't expect it. Never happened. We ended up walking to hotel, since no taxis were around (all left after we got our game plan). It was about 30 min walk. We didn't mind walking. What was difficult was finding the place. Tucked away in side streets and as we got closer, other hotels didn't recognize name. Eventually found it w/ combo of help of GPS on phone (Vietnam sims card helps) and simply stumbling into it. Keep in mind what tripped us is the name similarity. There is another Binh Doung, but this is #4 (IV). A block away is #2 (II). Then I see on this page - Sunny C. So have all this info ready at hand. So back to hotel.....really enjoyed it. Everything worked....TV, WiFi, AC fan. Views were nice. We were high up and got to see skyline and horizon. We were walking distance to most popular sites; Citadel, Trang Tien bridge, bldg-campus where Ho Chi Minh started his rise to power. Reception ladies always asked if we needed anything, where to go, etc. They have a fridge behind desk w/ cold beers, water for sale. Reasonable price. If ever in this city again, we most likely would stay here again.
