Last minute emergency booking made the day before visiting Tiverton for a wedding. They were incredibly helpful and patient when our check in time kept being pushed back (we wound up arriving after midnight, and it was no trouble for them).

Lovely little guesthouse with a particularly well-suited set of owners running the place. They were communicative, helpful, and attentive. Chris and Sue were willing to make changes to my booking (adding my daughter on the second night) and going the extra mile to make sure that our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The Angel is a quirky establishment with winding staircases and particularly excellent eggs. The older nature of the building means that the layout is a little eccentric and would not be suitable for clients with mobility difficulties. This is not a modern hotel, but instead is a bijou and eccentric local B&B which has a charming old-school feel. It’s one of the few places in which I’ve stayed where I had to share a bathroom with other guests, so that was unusual. I would recommend this venue to any guests who like great service and value for money, but not if you are on the lookout for a modern experience as it wouldn’t be fair to compare this to a newer build. This is a clean, welcoming place which provides excellent value for money in a lovely area of the world. I would highly recommend this guesthouse for the care and time taken by the owners to ensure your comfort and contentment. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent breakfast, great value.

Chris & Sue were very friendly and helpful, very accommodating, excellent value for money. Car parking awkward to find (1st alleyway on right past BnB), a tour of the oneway system to try again is a long way - be warned. Would definitely recommend!

Sue and Chris make you feel like one of the family. Extremely friendly, full of local knowledge and a full English breakfast that is second to none. The B&B is basic, very clean, very comfortable, in a great location and very affordable.Talk to Chris or Sue about parking if you are staying with them. This was our second visit and there will be plenty more.

Despite the most awful weather which ruined a lot of our plans whilst staying in the area, we had the most fantastic stay here and are already looking at dates in May when we can return! Such a great value gem with breakfasts to die for! My son is still raving about the homemade jam! We stayed in Room 4- the family room, with our 2 sons. It is a spacious room with plenty of space to hang a whole family's clothes and spread out. The beds were comfortable and clean and parking at the property car park was safe and easy. We enjoyed being right in the town centre and able to walk to a lot of the local amenties and even treated ourselves to a film at the cinema (3 min walk away) due to weather being so rubbish. Tiverton is a really cute and traditional little area. There is a lot of things locally that would interest young familes. We will be back very soon!

Stayed for one night to enable us to watch the Tiverton football match as we were supporting the away team. The room rate was very reasonable and we weren't expecting anything great but were pleasantly surprised.
