Clean everywhere and bathrooms were lovely.

stray dogs and cats that continued to fight in between guests loungers around the pool area. It left us feeling very nervous The staff members were nice and polite but struggled to fulfil most basic requests. Food orders arrived after 45 minutes to 1 hour and arrived cold. Alas, the quality of the guests has let the place down. Our mistake for choosing a "clubby" type holiday and not a branded 5 star :((

The all-inclusive package includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The local residents in my family remarked that the curd (fermented dairy product made from buffalo milk) was the best they’d ever had. The layout of the hotel rooms is great. The pool seemed good and it's very close to the beach. Some staff members were helpful and pleasant, adding to the experience.

Attempts to contact the hotel by phone went unanswered multiple times, making communication frustrating. While breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included, the meals were average at best—not what you’d expect during a festive Christmas period, especially with a full hotel. Sri Lankan hotels in this price range typically offer far superior buffet options. Despite being marketed and priced as a 5-star experience, this felt more like a 4-star (or less). Activities like fishing and boat rides, advertised as included or available at a small fee, were completely unavailable due to various excuses. Even some balls and racquets were unavailable. Adding to the disappointment, the spa closes at 8 PM, which is ridiculous for a hotel of this calibre. Had I been asked about my stay during checkout, I would have gladly shared this feedback directly rather than writing it here. They just took the keys, checked that I had prepaid and said OK. And that was it.

The Buffets never dissapoint, they are always delicious and lots of options! The pool area is maintained very well and kept very clean. The private beach area is also very nice to have especially with young children. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The rooms red floors are very outdated and slippery. My young child fell countless times as they have been overpolished and not safe for anyone really. The bathrooms are in desperate need of an upgrade, the fixtures are lose/bathtub is old and scratched up.
