Welcomed by the owner who was very friendly. Took us through all of the amenities and how to work the electronic door system. Parking was free at the back of the premises which was perfect. Not much else to add other than a very friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was really nice. 5 minutes from the pier so it is close enough but far enough away to not be in the firing line.

Crumbs in bed Old kitchen Dealing with booking.com is a nightmare

Unfortunately this review is not for the accomodation , as to our surprise when we arrived , the staff/owner who was chilling outside then said " I am not expecting anyone to check in ". I showed the email of booking confirmation from Booking.com, later he found out there's an issue. I was already getting bit annoyed with the situation but Kris kindly has managed the situation under control, he rang the owner of Abbey Lodge opposite to the property, and got us a double room there.

Booking.com booking system - with the property..there seems a problem that we dont know but owner didnt get our booking.

My mum loved staying here for her time away for my wedding. Can't fault the owner so helpful even when she phoned up because she was lost and they gave her directions to get back to the b and b. Myself and my wife will definitely be booking to stay here for our anniversary next year.

There were no faults my mum found with the place.

Breakfast was good, great location, and staff where great.

Very warm welcome , breakfast was plentiful and good quality , evening meal available if required.
