From the time we entered, Fleur & Paul could not do to much to make our stay absolutely perfect. The Accommodation could not have been better. The location is ideal if you are working or on holiday in and around Cambridge. The Whitehouse is more than just a guest house, it is more like home from home. There is always food available from the fitted kitchen for all guests to help themselves at anytime day or night. For any one visiting Papworth Hospital it is an ideal Base to stay, Fleur is always ready to negotiate a good deal for long term staying guests and will always arrange transport for guests as they require it, again negotiating a favourable rate . If guests require take away meals or wish to go out for a meal I would recommend talking to Fleur or Paul, they will get the best deal going. To sum up I would highly recommend the Whitehouse as an High quality place to stay.
Overnight stay en route to Yorkshire. Room suitable for overnight stay but could be a bit cramped for a longer period. Excellent breakfast!

Working close by so stayed over and found this on line, the welcome was great even though I was late and it was all done by text! Breakfast great Room Great and comfortable. Only small iffy bit was room too hot as heating on so opened window and work overnight on nearby train lines meant a peace was interrupted. But don't let that put you off we don't often need to open a window at night.
Good location for families and casual visitors. Owners friendly and enthusiastic. Sometimes a bit disorganized but all works out eventually. Not fancy but comfortable.
I was staying in the area to attend a meeting in Cambridge and to see friends locally. The Whitehouse is located in countryside outside the village. It was easy to find, but was away from the road. Access, from the car park at the rear was direct into the communal kitchen/dining room/lounge. I was in a double ensuite which was off this room, which suited me fine as I walk with difficulty. A cooked breakfast was provided, and tea and coffee, a large range of cerials and wholemeal and white bread were on the shelves for toast, either for breakfast, or a snack later in the day. There was a tin of home made scones on the table for whenever wanted. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking an evening meal, with the only proviso that it was left clean and tidy after use. As well as the downstairs double with ensuite that I was in, there were a double and twin upstairs who also used this kitchen. The other rooms use a separate kitchen.

I have stayed here before so happy to go back. Comfortable room. Nice modern bathroom with walk in shower area. Very clean. Good breakfast and friendly owners Happy to return again Very good value
