Great place - staff are very friendly and the freshest breakfast I have had in a long long time.

Pleasant, efficient, friendly staff. Quiet, restful location with wonderful walks. Characterful old inn. Wood- burning stove.

Lovely location in the country, with walks around, and just off the A9. Very helpful, perfect 'stalker's breakfast' and great packed lunch. Dinner menu looked really good but we had plans in the evening. Very clean. A gem.

A well run, privately owned Inn with a very warm welcome and a good breakfast to send you on your way all set in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Totally recommended.

Management and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly . The Czech staff were simply lovely and so charming . This small hotel was in a lovely setting but so handy and close to main thoroughfare. Our room was pretty , spotlessly clean and very cosy. The evening meal was simple fare but well cooked and breakfast was very good. We will most definitely return and definitely recommend. So much better than a large impersonal hotel.

We arrived at the Struan Inn about a half hour early and were a little put off by the fact that the door was locked. We could hear people inside but when we rang the doorbell, no one came to greet us. So we had to wait in the car until their designated check in time. It wasn't the greatest first impression. But once they let us in, the hosts were very friendly and the place is absolutely beautiful and the ensuite bathroom was huge. It's basically in the middle of nowhere so if you're looking for a lively bar scene, look elsewhere. The room was stunning and the bar, restaurant, and sitting area were lovely. We were able to order a glass of wine and sit out in their garden/lawn in the sunshine. We had dinner there and it was EXCELLENT. Breakfast was just as good. Unfortunately we both had a sleepless night because there was a massive spider on the bed that then scurried underneath so we couldn't kill it.... Other than that, I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet country inn.

Great people, great food, very accommodating.

Everything was perfect, although would've appreciated a queen/king-sized bed rather than the narrower ordinary double. Had a great evening meal and breakie was also a delight. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended.
