This resort offers a truly exceptional experience with stunning ocean views from both the pool area and the comfortable rooms. The on-site restaurant adds to the convenience, offering delicious meals at reasonable prices. It's the perfect place to settle in for several days without needing to venture elsewhere. The only downside? Not booking a longer stay.

What a magical experience! Sweeping views, beautiful grounds, clean rooms, and gracious staff. Proximity to jungle provides unique views of wildlife. The cherry on top, being next to a wildlife rehabilitation center with tours. I hope their partnership expands because it really is a unique and special place with conservation messaging that is very needed in todays world.

The breathtaking views from the property are undeniable. The hotel’s location also allows for occasional wildlife sightings. Staying there means you’re just a short walk from a wildlife sanctuary that’s a must-see. While we were grateful for the early check-in after a three-hour drive with our toddler, we must point out that cabin 4 requires significant maintenance and cleaning. Two of the four control knobs on the stove were missing, and one was stuck. The only functional safe box in the cabin was out of service. The shower tiles were quite dirty and moldy, and the bathroom in general needed a deep clean. We requested the laundry service, but we were informed that the washer was broken, so we had to wait until it was repaired. We ended up using a laundry service in the next town. The cushions on the little front porch of our cabin were ripped and in poor condition. Overall, the hotel is okay, but it’s not particularly friendly for families with toddlers. The food service was average, not exceptional or terrible, just average. The staff was attentive and kind, but the truth is, the hotel needs a good paint job and basic maintenance. Wouldn’t go back though.

This was my absolute favorite place my kids and I visited in 12 days in Costa Rica total. The staff and grounds were phenomenal. We want to go back- not just to Costa Rica, but also specifically to this property that just… felt like home to the hearts.

This property is very relaxed and welcoming. The staff are highly attentive and really take care of you while you are on site. The addition of the animal sanctuary makes it a very eco-friendly destination. We stayed for one week during which the surrounding jungle and wildlife were the stars of the show.

I really liked my stay in the hotel because the food and the service were very pleasing. Plus the amaizing views in the pool and hotel in general made my experience memorable and it was just what I needed to clear my mind and have fun with my friends

The hotel is beautifully located on a hill and offers a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding gardens. Many animals live there as well, such as capuchin monkeys, toucans, and macaws. Our villa was spacious, with a large kitchen and air conditioning in the bedrooms. The included breakfast was very good, and the staff was always friendly. Why not 5 stars? Several things were broken (perhaps due to the end of the season?): some lights in the villa, three out of four burners on the gas stove, and the machine in the restaurant where you would normally be able to help yourself to filtered water at any time. Regarding the comments about access: yes, the road up to the hotel is very steep and unpaved, and especially when it’s raining heavily (or has been raining for a while), it’s only accessible with a 4 wheel drive
