Posada La Sacristía

Really unique property with excellent "front desk" personnel. There are serious parking issues in the town of Tarifa. The hotel does not have any parking available.

What a lovely place to stay. While the room was quite small, I it had character and was located in the middle of the old part of Tarifa. We were on the third floor, which was great. It would have been better, if we had a view room on the other side. The staff were super-nice. We really appreciated being able to securely store our luggage after checking out. Be forewarned, that it is hard to find free parking on the weekends and probably during the busy season. The narrow streets in this part of town are blocked to traffic on Fri. - Sun., so you will need to carry your luggage for a distance, rather than drop it off at the hotel. The pay lot, where parking was adequate, was actually somewhat close to the hotel. However, we had somewhere to be at 6 am, and the pay parking lot did not open until 8 am so we could not get our car out! That being said, we would gladly stay here again.

La Posada Sacristia is a beautiful oasis - made more charming by the fact that the woman who checked us in stayed extra late to do so because we almost got stuck in Tangier and had to be routed through an entirely different town. We walked in after a rough day of travel and were instantly transported to a spa-like atmosphere. The room was delightful, the breakfast delicious, and the service went beyond. We wish we had spent more time there and will, undoubtedly return.

This is my second stay and the first under the new ownership. Wonderful beds and linens and decor very upscale. Lovely buffet breakfast. Outstanding service on all levels. We will make it our place to stay in Tarifa.

We recently stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was nice but at night it could get loud. There is a restaurant/lounge that can cause a lot of noise if people are in it at night. Fortunately this only occurred 1 of the 3 nights. The doors to the rooms are a bit of an issue since only half of the door opens making it a bit of a squeeze to get in and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, right in the hub of the action in the old part of town.

Loved our quaint but comfortable hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff made our stay exceptional. Comfortable room with an amazing shower. Simple but fresh breakfast buffet included. Hotel is close to shops and bars, and a short walk from the ferry or the beach. Super value for the price. Would love to go back again soon
