B&B Residenza Farnese

We stayed in a room of this beautiful residence inside the old city of Farenze. The room was very modern and comfortable and it was a pleasure to sit on the balcony and have a nice breakfast. Not much to do or see in this village but we used this location to visit beautiful Pitigliano, 20 minutes away.

Stylisch gelegenes B&B Mitten in den engen Gassen von Farnese. Keine Zufahrt mit dem Auto möglich, dafür der Flair einer Italienischen Kleinstadt! Die Besitzerin backt frische Kuchen fürs Frühstück selbst. Lecker! Schöne Ausgangslage um die Kultur der Etrusker zu erkunden! Lago di Bolsen und das Meer sin gut zu erreichen!

Det var ett helt perfekt ställe att bo på om man vill utforska södra delarna av Toscana. Francesca är en helt underbar värdinna som är mån om sina gäster och ger tips och råd om man fråger. Dessutom pratar hon hygglig engelska. Rummen är väldigt fina och bekväma och frukosten hur mysig som helst, i en miljö som är helt underbar.Kan verkligen rekomenderas

We booked this B & B on the advice of a friend in Casperia. We wanted to experience another authentic Italian Village. It was highly recommended for the beauty of the B & B, and the proximity of a wonderful slow food restaurant - Piazzetta Del Sole. I have done a separate review of this restaurant, which is truly the best food, atmosphere, wine and service we had in Italy, and it was very reasonable. Even better, it is just down the steps from the B & B! We loved it so much we ate there every night we were in Francese. Emmanuella was the loveliest hostess you could have asked for. She provided us with beautiful breakfasts including cakes baked by the proprietor Francesca, local cheeses and meats, fruit and she even brought over a toaster the second day because we asked for toast the first day! She also gave us information on the where to go and what to do - there are many wonderful day trips to be had from this location. The accommodations are simply gorgeous. The bed linens, towels, bathroom fixtures and all the little touches made us feel like we were staying at a 5 star Hotel in Europe. The only drawback to this hotel for us was that the internet never worked. A challenge for those of us who are needing to be "plugged in", but a blessing at the same time. It did not take away from our wonderful experience at this lovely and delightful place. The breakfasts are the best we had in Italy.

We arrived to Farnese after 4 days in Rome. Per the reviews we thought it was going to be ok but it was a wonderful surprise to find such a wonderful, nice and peaceful place right in the center middle of the country side. Franchesca (the owner) is a great host and the way she run the hotel i must say is way better than a simple bed and breakfast and also by far better than many self called "hotels" we have seen during our trip. Farnese is a beautiful town, close to Pitigliano and not that far from Orvieto, two small towns you must visit if you go to Italy.

Una vera scoperta: innanzitutto il borgo antico e intatto di Farnese, che non ha nulla di lezioso e turistico ma conserva grande autenticità ed è inserito in un territorio di eccezionale interesse. Poi la scoperta di questo B&B in cui la passione e il buon gusto della padrona di casa emergono in ogni dettaglio e particolare; indimenticabile la colazione sul terrazzo affacciato sule viuzze di Farnese. Siamo state accolte con grande professionalità e ancor maggiore cordialità.

Un B&B molto ben curato e confortevole. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

A wonderful place to send a few days. Relaxing and in the right area of Italy!

Much, much better than I'd expected or hoped. Highly reccomended.
