We were physically attacked by the owner of the hotel because of a mistake in the reservation, which he thought we were not going to pay He wanted us to leave but prevented me from going to the room. He tried to strangle my husband and He punched me in the head twice, My husband fought back to defend me, But the man kept wanting to fight more. He was possessed. He also threw himself in a wall and split his forehead open. When the carabinieri arrived they escorted me to my car and one officer was asking us what happened and the other one was asking him. He kept arguing with the carabiniere in a very agitated state. when the ambulance came they checked our wounds and his. He needed stitches but refused to go to the hospital. (wonder why) My husband was finally escorted to the room to get the dog and all our belongings and after 2 hours of hell we finally left. The captain of the Carabinieri di Gizzeria advised us not to press charges, which traumatized me even further. It has been five days and I am still very traumatized. I never had a man put his hands on me before nor punched me in the head where I could have been extremely injured. I am a disabled person having had 3 major spinal surgeries, with the last one lasting 12 hours. I could have been seriously injured. Thank God my husband was able to protect me from being further harmed.

Tutto sommato okay. Per una breve vacanza al mare si può fare, però sinceramente non c'andrei più. Non perché l'hotel è brutto pero sapendo che 1) è localizzato veramente letteralmente sulla strada statale si sente tantissimo il traffico, anche di notte ci passano le macchine 2) ci sono i club/il lido a 100 metri, di notte fino alle 5 del mattino (magari soltanto d'estate?) suonano il tecno/il rave senza interruzione. 3) l'hotel non ha spiaggia propria ne accesso diretto, bisogna camminare un po' a piedi sulla strada statale (che può essere micidiale) e poi altri 15 minuti in direzione di questi club dove l'ombrellone costa 20€ al giorno. 4) la colazione per gusti contintentali mah è okay, piuttosto all'italiana, c'è di peggio. 5) le stanze sono okay, niente di speciale, una camera singola piuttosto semplice povera. 6) il ristorante è accanto, la cena era buona anche c'hanno messo 1 ora per portare il conto. tutto sommato per una persona sola okay ma prossima volta preferisco prendere un hotel in vicinanze della spiaggia e non direttamente sulla strada statale.

The manager and the owner of the hotel is very friendly and he always solve whatever problem you have.

It's the second time that we stay at this hotel. As usual, the room was extremely clean, quiet and functional. The mattress very comfortable. The staff very accommodating and friendly. Yes, the hotel is on a main road, but all the positive makes up for that.

Breakfast is good if you like sweet food, if you don't, then it lacks of eggs and some more choices. But maybe I could have asked, which I did not.

Location and hotel. Host was excellent.
