Die Lage ist der Wahnsinn. Das Zimmer klein aber sehr sauber und modern . Kaffee und Tee auf dem Zimmer. Frühstücksbüffet war übersichtlich aber es war für uns komplett ausreichend. Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden

Au-delà du séjour très agréable au sein de l'établissement, nous avons eu des problèmes avec notre voiture en arrivant à Ascona. Le personnel de l'hôtel a été très serviable et nous a aidé à trouver un garagiste pour faire diagnostiquer la voiture dès le lendemain de notre arrivée ! P.S. L'hôtel offre des tarifs préférentiels pour le parking et des réductions pour leurs 3 restaurants au sein d'Ascona.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Man kann Ascona gut zu Fuß erkunden.

Room was very clean and modern. The view was ok as we upgraded our stay to the room with the balcony. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Unfortunately, we had few unpleasant situations (1) Upon arrival, we were told we could park on the pedestrian street to unload our luggage. I double-checked and was informed we could leave the car briefly for check-in before moving it to the booked parking. After checking in and taking our luggage to the room, we returned to find a 40 CHF fine. When I asked the front desk for support, they declined and said it was my responsibility, as the car had been parked too long. I believe clearer guidance should have been provided—e.g. to leave luggage at reception and move the car immediately. We would have followed that if properly informed. The front desk manager was quite unpleasant, which negatively impacted the start of our stay. After I raised the issue, she agreed to contact the police, but said I would still need to pay if they declined to cancel the fine. At check-out, she offered to reimburse the 40 CHF, which I appreciated. However, the experience had already affected our overall impression. (2) We were surprised that the room had no air conditioning. We were told that, as it was winter, only heating was available and centrally controlled. Our room reached 25°C with closed windows, which was too warm for us. We opened the window at night for cooler air, but our room faced a rear restaurant entrance. Around 2 AM, staff noise (handling glass bottles) woke us up (every night). Opening the window also brought in mosquitoes that didn't let us sleep in the morning. This was particularly disappointing as we had requested a quiet room to rest properly. Overall, our sleep was repeatedly interrupted, and we were relieved to return home for a good night’s sleep. (3) At breakfast there are NO vegetables. Not at all which was a bit surprising as well.

Die Rezeption ist wahnsinnig schön gelegen. Auch die Zimmer im Vista 11 sind sehr nahe am See. Die Dame an der Rezeption konnte uns sehr gut weiterhelfen und war wahnsinnig freundlich.

Das Einzelzimmer Nr. 12 von Vista 11 ist sehr klein und das Einzelbett wirkt etwas in die Ecke gequetscht. Da fande ich das Doppelzimmer um einiges cooler. Beim Frühstück finde ich es sehr schade, dass die Hotelgäste drinnen essen sollen jedoch Externen an den schönsten Plätzen - in der ersten Reihe am See - dasselbe Frühstücksbuffet um 26.50 angeboten wird.

The pictures of the room sin booking.com are completely different from the room we got. The room we got was not in the promenade but in a building behind it, the room was tiny, the bed was super hard and the back was extremely uncomfortable, they gave us two really small pillows. They said during check in that somebody would be available at the number if we needed someone, when we called a very rude guy answered the phone we requested extra pillows and towels and he said he wasnt there and that this was not his problem. Breakfast was Horrible, when we arrived it was overcrowded, no fried eggs, only a horribly presented pot of scrambled ex, the queue to get coffee lasted 15 minutes and it was very disorganised, I am a hotelier and would not reccomend this property. Then when we complained they tried to avoid the bad review by offering a pizza Voucher, which we refused,
