Electra Pension

Pension très bien située à quelques minutes à pied du débarcadère des ferries. Bon accueil du propriétaire et du personnel. Terrasse sur le toit très agréable pour petit déjeuner le matin avec vue sur la mer. Très calme, propre, avec une décoration soignée, la pension Electra a un charme certain et est le lieu idéal pour découvrir Egine.

This was a well-located place, very clean, with comfortable beds, good shower, good air conditioning. The wifi worked most of the time. Always in the evening. The owner was friendly and gave suggestions for meals. Be aware that you must pay cash. He does not accept credit cards. I would definitely stay there again.

Die Pension liegt zentral aber dennoch sehr ruhig! Zimmer und Bad gepflegt und top sauber , gründliche tägliche Reinigung! Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend !gerne wieder!

Sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene Pension in den Landesfarben blau/weiß in Hafennähe. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst zuvorkommend und erfüllen ihren Gästen jeden Wunsch. So erhielten wir einen Wasserkocher auf unser Zimmer und konnten somit unseren Morgenkaffee auf der schönen Dachterrasse genießen. In Punkto Sauberkeit reicht für die Pension Elektra ein Hervorragend nicht aus. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefüllt und können diese Unetrkunft nur empfehlen.

It started off so well John the owner met us with some chocolate and a smile. The rooms ( we were 3 couples in 3 rooms) were clean but the air conditioning was set at 25 and we could not alter it ( although it was very hot!). We are all in our late 50's early 60's and on the first evening decided to sit on the patio area to have a drink before dinner. One of the party changed chairs as he felt they were not very substantial ( white plastic) but a few minutes later another of the party was just sitting there and the legs collapsed and he had a nasty fall. Also the glasses fell off the table and cut another member of our group. The owner was apologetic and after we put some plasters on her cuts we thought it was just one of those things. When we arrived John the owner asked if we wanted crockery and supplied each couple with 1 plate between us 2 forks 2 spoons two cups and two glasses. The next morning as we were going out the owner presented us with two more glasses for each room and a bill for 6 Euros per couple for the glasses and 8 Euros for the chair!!! We were flabbergasted and told him we would not pay it. He bacame very agitated and rude and told us we were swinging on the chair (at our age that is a distant memory!) his attitude was appalling and eventually he stormed off and we saw very little of him after that for the remainder of our stay. We would NEVER stay here again and issue caution to any one who upsets the owner in any way. He was not a very nice man.

Abbiamo soggiornato, io e il mio compagno, in questo hotel a giugno per 8 giorni. La struttura è piccola, semplice ma molto pulita. Ogni giorno ci hanno cambiato gli asciugamani e rassettato la stanza perfettamente. Il gestore è molto disponibile e gentile. Dietro mia richiesta ci ha fatto trovare in camera un bollitore e tutto l'occorrente per preparare la colazione in camera in quanto la struttura non dispone di bar o di ristorante. Avevamo richiesto una stanza con balcone con vista mare. Dalle foto dell'hotel il balcone sembrava grande invece era piccolissimo. Non aveva alcuna vista sul mare ma bensì si affacciava su un cortile interno con vista sui palazzi circostanti. L'hotel dispone di una terrazza comune ma anche da lì il mare si vede ben poco.

Very helpful person on Reception. No complaints about anything. Our room had a nice little balcony and was wonderfully quiet. In spite of what our guide book said, there me is NO noise from the nearby miser kept as said market is a very small affair.

We enjoyed our stay. John and his wife were pleasant and helpful. Room was nice, clean and well kept. The location is great, nice and quiet during our stay, and close, about 5 minutes easy walk from the ferry, downtown and the waterfront. We enjoyed it and will stay again if we return.
