Hotel A La Maison

Boutique art hotel. Very few rooms. Personal attention. Very big rooms. Hot, and I mean very hot shower. Nice and save location. Close to plaza espana.

When we arrived to the hotel, door was closed and nobody open for 25 minutes. Hotel do not accept credit card, only cash! sheets dirty, so, it is not a good hotel, not even for adventure tourists. we won't return to this hotel

Très bel endroit, on est comme à la maison! chambre spacieuse décorée avec goût, salle de bain propre et salon cuisine très agréables pour se poser. Accueil sympathique et naturel; De multiples renseignements et conseils sont donnés. Le petit déjeuner est extra (confitures maisons, fruits, etc.)

Booked through expedia for 2 nights in an "apartment", however upon check in was shown a room with no kitchen. When asked where was kitchen staff said this was the room booked. Not happy but checked in because there was no other option. Worse was to come! was told by reception (on the morning of the 2nd day JUST as we were heading out for a full day bike ride) that the 2nd night was not available/no reservation shown and we had to leave. Staff apologised but said nothing could be done. This was really inconvenient and frankly outrageous as I had to move us alone while my parter went on the ride. I suggest that a la maison and expedia sort out those issues because it was enough to put me off going to this place again- despite the fact that it was nice. Staff did apologise and the hotel offered a discount for the inconvenience- but I had to ask for it.

Magnifique appartement propre et confortable, propriétaire très sympathique, le déjeuner est à travailler. L'hotel est un peu loin du coin touristique, mais il est tellement super qu'il valait les quelques dollars de taxi pour se déplacer.

We stayed here on our honeymoon for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Hotel was very well spacious, clean and staff / owner was extremely friendly. Great location too in downtown, very quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

nothing great, good value fr money

Great apartment in a very quiet residential area of La Paz. Supermarket, ATM, Bakery and Barbecue chicken shops nearby. Yummy breakfast with fresh juice. Fantastic night views of La Paz, particularly on a full moon. We'll definitely come back and stay here again.

Stor sjarmerende/autentisk leilighet i relativt god stand. Bad og kjøkken kunne imidlertid vært pusset opp og det var vanskelig å temperere vannet på badet. Vi fikk heller ikke nøkkel til hovedinngang, hvilket var en liten ulempe når vi kom hjem og nattevakten ved en anledning ikke var tilstede. I den store sammenhengen er dette detaljer, og oppholdet sett under ett var veldig bra. Relativt til Boliviansk standard, er nok dette hotellet noe av det bedre.
