Hotel La Renaissance

We chose the Renaissance Hotel for it's location close to the ferry terminal and various restaurants and were very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the room and the warmth of the staff. The breakfast was very good and overall the hotel is value for money.

Lovely welcome. Very basic but well situated for the cité de la mer.

Uncomfortable bed. Hotel quite dated. Room above doing a marathon around their room at 5am.

Good room with a nice bed and decent shower. The parking garage was secure, but is only available for one vehicle at a time. We love the cat.

Access is difficult after 9:30pm (entry via a code, which was incorrect on the confirmation email). Rooms have no tea or coffee facilities. Breakfast is limited.

Hotel is in the centre of the town near all the waterfront resturants. Plenty of free parking nearby and the hotel provide their own secure parking at a small extra cost (book in advance). Staff very friendly (and English speaking). Continental breakfast is freshly prepared and served to table. No traffic noise so a good night's sleep was had. I'd be happy to recommend this place.
