Berida Hotel

Very comfortable old style hotel with lots of charm and character. We really enjoyed the decor, games room, spacious bedroom and grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful and room service was quick and efficient. We liked the location - about a 15 min walk from Bowral town proper and the whiskey room is a lovely place to enjoy a pre-dinner or post dinner drink. There has been a lot of effort put into the decoration and finishes to really make it feel like a vintage grand house.

As an older property it did come with its quirks - the bathroom would flood each time we took a shower as the drains are perhaps not well fitted to remove water fast enough, and some noises from the kitchen and hall were audible (we were directly above the restaurant) so some hums and knocks could be heard from the exhaust. Nothing too major - it didn't go on late into the night.

Such a sweet country gem. Great staff comfortable room. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Location, decor, open fireplaces, the restaurant and bars

Not enough PowerPoints in the room. Surely a hotel of this quality and price should provide real coffee options - either plunger or small coffee pod machines in each room rather than instant coffee. TV was difficult to work out had to get someone up from reception.

The room was very noisy , I could hear people talking outside my door every time they walked by.. They need soundproof doors

Such a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street. The grounds are wonderful, the staff were lovely and there was even a little lolly shop!

Nothing - great stay.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Berida Hotel and can recommend having dinner there as the food was excellent.
