Corso Apartment

The room served it's purpose... a place to sleep and freshen up. Having free wifi and a refrigerator were definitely a plus. We were provided with two towels... however, they were more like floormats, so I do recommend bringing your own or asking for additional towels before the landlord leaves. Although there is no immediate service with a front desk, the owner showed up within a matter of 10 minutes when my husband and I were stranded in the elevator.

Tidy and clean apartment, right next to the tourist spot and on the fringe of the Jewish district. If you are wanting to party, I would suggest staying in a hostel or hotel in the Jewish district as this was a good 15 min walk from any of the ruin bars and clubs and you can easily get lost walking back after a few. Also be weary of the tourist tax per night which is not included in the comments of the hotel.

The room is in a building within a building - a new experience for me! The location is superb and loads of shops nearby. Also, ldikó - the owner, was completely helpful. She even turned up in the evening when I couldn't get my heater to work! Overall, highly recommended.

This is a very simple apartment that has a kitchen, bed, and bath. It is very central and in a great neighborhood. If you are looking for something low cost with great access, this is the place. This is an apartment though so don't expect hotel staff or a front desk.

I stayed 2 days in the one-room apartment on Erzsebet ter 5. GOOD: *) Great location that's close to the major metro station Deak ferenc ter where 3 of the metro lines pass through: really convenient. *) Newly renovated bathroom, looks really nice. BAD:: *) There was not a single towel in the apartment which was unexpected. I ended up having to look around for a shop in an unknown city for a towel first thing I did. So if you're going to live here, make sure to bring your own towels! *) The bed was too hard, 2-3 days are ok but no more than that. *) They were doing a major renovation of the building while I was staying (13-15th April) and it went on even on saturdays and sundays and was quite noisy from around 9am to 5 pm, something to be aware of. So overall mainly because of the great location I'd 3 out of 5. With a softer bed and the renovation done (and your having packed your own towels) it would be at least 4.

Great location and the staff member we met was nice and flexible - I would say I thought the apartment could do with a bit of a refurb though - since it wasn't cheap. We were disappointed the room had no kitchen and not even any facilities to make a hot drink. The location was unbeatable though and if you're not planning to spend much time in the apartment, then it will be fine.
