New Pokhara Lodge - Pokhara Lakeside

good spot from which to explore pokhara / lakeside. the garden looked nice.

overall state of the room was not great. lights were very dim, and room could have been cleaner. the bathroom was in a poor condition, owner was not informed about the state of the broken shower, and had to organize a plumber. breakfast was very basic.

It's a home stay in a nice quiet street away from the main areas. Place is run by a family. They are pleasant people. It is clean, quiet, secure, well kept, has a nice garden and flowers. It's good value for money.

The area has frequent power cuts. Room was clean but basic with no TV. Gate closes at 11 so you can't really do night outs. There are mosquitos. They do provide mosquito repellent but you will get bitten. Terrace was disappointing.

The New Pokhara Lodge is a wonderful place. It is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The rooms are minimalistic but with everything you need (e.g. hotwater/tea), the bathroom is big and like the other room very clean. Wifi works in the room. The garden is perfect to do some exercise or reading a book. And there is the stunning view from the rooftop. And all that for reasonable prices. Mahindra is great host aswell. So all in all a 10/10. I will come again.

Nice and clean place, the owner was kind of enough to give me a free scooter ride to town so i can get back the jacket i had forgotten 👍👍

First of all, I think it´s important to mention that I stayed for 5 nights, while most of the visitors stay for 1 or 2 nights before trekking. New Pokhara Lodge is a very cozy and welcoming hotel, with extremely polite and warm owners - they were interested in asking how I was when I felt sick, bringing me water and making themselves available to help. The hotel is located at the edge of the lakeside, making it quiet and ideal for a nice sleep, whilst being only a few minutes away from the lake and the central part of the area. It also has a well-kept garden. The breakfast offered was eggs (in any of the usual forms), which is typical in Nepali budget hotels, along with coffee, juice and a banana.

New Pokhara Lodge is a great place to stay in Pokhara. It's quiet, comfortable has a great view of the Annapurna Range from the roof and is just off the main drag. I have stayed twice now and the staff are very kind and helpful and are keen to help with tours, guides and any onward travel. You Can't go wrong here, it's ideal prior to and after a trek
