This is a typical Japanese business hotel and I have stayed here before. Probably the best location in Shimada if you have business here. Tried the sento (bath) this time and it is very good, better than expected!

The property is showing it's age and it could use some renovation soon. The beds are also a bit hard.

急遽前日にGoogleマップから島田市東町から近いホテルの予約することになり調べているうちに次々と空きがなくなっていったがこのホテルは空いていて良かった。駅から歩ける距離で良かった。ベッドの寝心地は良かった。朝食は美味しかった。

予約を逃した他のホテルに比べ割高だった点。余裕を持って予約すれば良かったのだが。朝食会場が狭いのかトレイを持っていてはテーブルの間を通ることができず遠回りすることになった。
