INDecent apartment with basic amenities, near Kaituna river rafting. Parking is included. Swimming pool and tennis court are good.
Steep steps, water didn’t taste good (maybe because of sulphur), the apartments a bit old, need some renovations

Location is a bit far from everything, but great if you want something quiet. The bed was a bit hard but hard to fault anything else!

Unfortunately the maintenance and upkeep of the rooms are not on par with expectations for the price paid. E.g. The internal window blinds can't be secured (the hooks have not been refixed after reaching end of usage) so they are staying down all day and night. Hindering a view to the nice surroundings. Mattress are passed their life cycle and contributed to 2 bad nights sleep. Upon checking in late evening we were informed, that the restaurant is under renovation. No info on the website or in pre-arrival communication. Given the location the next possible restaurant was at another resort 10 minutes drive away or back in town in Rotorua (25 minutes drive) - both were the alternative recommendations by the staff. No other shopping facilities are in close proximity.
