Villa Adria

The "hotel" is located just 300m from the village center of Slano. It is close to the water and the owners are really welcoming and polite. We were invited all the days to join them for a glass of wine and eat some "tapas". The room is a regular room with some dishes, fridge and water boiler that fills all the needs for a regular breakfast.

Vorteile: Klima une Sag mit deutschen Programmen waren vorhanden, das Zimmer hatte MeeresSicht, direkt vor dem Meer Nachteile: Die Gastgeber sprachen weder Deutsch noch Englisch. Deswegen War die Kommunikation kaum möglich. Im Zimmer funktionierte das Internet nicht. Während unseres Aufenthaltes von 3 Tagen War das Zimmer nie gereinigt. Erst am 3 Tag haben wir frische Bettwäsche vor der Tür gestellt bekommen. In dem Dorf waren keine vernünftige Strände vorhanden. Wir müssten ca. 90 Euro pro Nacht Zahlen. Für ein Zimmer ohne Service fanden wir es unverschämt teuer.

Hosts organised driver from airport- really helpful. 55 euros- in cash- each way. Maybe expensive-but it is about an hour. Good opportunity to find out about the place from drivers- who are young and educated. Villa has lots of steps to my room. Bit daunting after o/night flight with heavy case and might be impossible for some people. Fabulous view of the beautiful bay, gets sun all day. On quiet road. Good for couples, families with young children, middle to older age. Family live on site and are friendly and laid back- basic English. Younger people (under 40, maybe) have good English- and in restaurants, Dubrovnik and on tours etc. Slano is a quiet place, distant clubbing in hotel or visiting boats not a problem even for an old grouch. Friendly relaxed village - despite 2 hotels. Eating out reasonable cost and choice in restaurants. Couple of supermarkets and also, near church, a market stall with local veg. Nice lady popped in some figs, extra for me. The museum next to Church is worth a look. Tourist info in village, also does car hire. There are 'hikes' and bike ride maps- the terrapins are worth the walk if you are a walker but the map is useless and there are no signs. Boat trips, fishing etc Snorkeling is OK at west end of village .

Very nice place. Bang for ur buck. New remodel. Lil kitchen area with stove, fridge. Microwave, and even a sandwich maker. Double size euro shower. Bathroom was contemporary. Owners daughter showed us to the local NICE reataurant overlooking water. Even washe'd our clother for €5 euros. Nice people.

Perfect location to enjoy the sea after a day of travels. Friendly advice from the owners.

good hotel with service minded individuals , excellant location on the seafront utmärkt läge vid strand remsa ,massa strandställen att välja att vara på ,ett litet centrum med 2 olika minibutiker fyllda med massa olika saker 4-6-7 ställen att äta eller/ och ta en drink eller öl på..perfekt om man vill ha lite lung och ro hotelet var välskött rekommenderas starkt mysigt familjeägt hotell som hjälper med minsta lilla

Location: The hotel is situated at Slano which is about 40mins away from the city. Its easy to get around with a bus ending at the last station (u will never get lost). Pretty self sufficient wth Supermaket, food and cash machine. Landscape: Its a beautiful and transquill small settlement by the coastal bay. Room cleaniness: My cozy little room overlook the Adratic bay which is very peaceful. Staff: Very friendly and helpful during the stay. No poblem with communication, as he spoke in good English. Price: Reasonable and value for money. But would be better if they could accept credit card payment.

Slano is a little town 45 min. away from Dubrovnik, this property is a little house with the rooms made into a "hotel". The town is beautiful, unfortunately once we got there, the couple that are in charge don't speak English and the guy thinks he can be over friendly and touch people, so we cancelled our stay after the first night and went to a regular hotel. I didn't even requested a refund because I was just so mad at the guy that all I wanted was just leave. If you like little town folks and be treated like a whatever, then stay here. Rooms were clean, air conditioner didn't work and communication with the "receptionist" is impossible, park at your own risk in front of property in a little space, be careful with the sea, one inch to the left and your car will drop.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel, mais un appartement dans la maison des propriétaires pratique courante en Croatie, donc aucun service pendant le séjour. Sinon l'appartement était bien équipé et la vue sur mer agréable. Les propriétaires sont très gentils.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans ce petit immeuble qui compte 6 ou 7 chambres. La chambre était propre et une corbeille de raisin avait été placée dans le frigo à notre attention..le propriétaire est discret .Nous n'avons pas eu une des chambres avec balcon qui surplombe la petite baie...dômmage...La seule vue sur la mer était depuis unes des 2 fenêtres de la cuisine, la chambre par elle même n'en ayant pas. Si vous passez plusieurs nuits , demandez une des chambres avec balcon sur la baie et faite attention que celà figure dans votre réservation.. Un barbecue exterieur et une cuisine d'été semble être mis à disposition sur la terrasse commune.
