"Janet and John had very little notice of our arrival ( late booking ) but accommodated us despite this . Thank you 🙏"

In our experience this wasn’t a four star graded room. It’s a room within the owner’s house which is not our favourite option of stay. Has a very dated country feel suitable for some but in our opinion in need of an upgrade/ revamp especially as a 4* Rated offering. No TV in room , no minibar ( unless it was in owner’s kitchen or lounge) but that may not be an issue for some.

"Quiet and comfortable."

The property was nice and clean, located about 1 hour outside of Mbombela, it’s surrounded by lush greenery. The dirt road leading to the property wasn’t so bad, we were able to drive on it comfortably with a sedan.

"Awesome stay but no mobile signal in the room."

I liked the place and location.

There was no WiFi signal in the rooms and no signal on all networks. You could get WiFi in the lounge area but it was inconvenient to sit there at night to text family or research places off interest. I would suggest that the WiFi be placed in the dining area (between bedrooms and lounge) to at least boost the signal. The alternative is in the bedroom area instead of the lounge, where we only spent about 5% of our time just for the WiFi.

"A delightful place in a lovely spot. Perfect place to break your drive to Kruger"

Delightful place to stay, and a perfect point to spend the night en route from Oliver Tambo airport to Kruger national park. It's in a delightful spot, and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Excellent breakfast. We found great, quirky place to have dinner in nearby Sabie, so the whole experience was excellent. Good value. The following day we drove up the Panorama route with amazing falls to Kruger.
