Hotel Bahagia

We booked two family rooms trough on line booking but on arrival they offered two rooms in the ground floor behind the hotel (not in the main hotel building , on enquiry the front desk office said that we had booked family rooms and so family rooms only available in that building under the same hotel. The rooms were small, smelly & suffocated, the attached bathroom have no lock ---- and so you have to conscious, the bathrooms were dirty, overall no modern amenities in both the rooms. Complementary Breakfast was limited option to eat, no western option except bread, butter & jam. One day I tried to order omelet during breakfast but the hotel officials told me that Omelet is not a part of breakfast and I need to pay for that.

We just had lunch at Hotel Bahagia Restaurant during the 2nd of Eid Adha holidays. The restaurant looks decent enough however the service was very poor. There was no one in the restaurant however our food was late. We ordered for nasi goreng as we thought this would be a fast food to prepare but it took the chef close to an hour to prepare 5 plates of nasi goreng. We ordered nasi goreng thai and in the menu it looks like there is some prawns and eggs...but when it arrives thE nasi goreng is plain and only fried with some cabbage. The cakes that we ordered is also so very dry and tasteless. I guess the cake is no longer fresh. To the hotel management, please do not rob your patrons. This will be our first and last visit and we will ensure that our friends will not have the same bad experience as us.

We stayed a night as stopover. They did not recognize our reservation but they tried to provide a same type of spacious studio room - not cleaned at all. Looked clean, but there are pet bottles, tissues, etc under beds. Someone shouted at night and we kept awake for hours due to loose window locks. Location is in Kuah which is good to view Eagle Square.

I have made reservation for 2 delux rooms, since one was unoccupied they honored my request for upgradation to Jr Suite. The suite was good. Good street views. Wifi & TV were awesome. Room service was good. The restaurant had not been placed with dish names. Would have been better if available. Separate vegetarian dishes were made on request for breakfast apart from the standard menu. Check in & Check Out were smooth. You haev a coffee shop n bakery attached to the hotel. Its awesome.

Stayed for 3 nights. Check in was quick. Helpful and accomodating staffs. Tidy room comes with buffet breakfast for 2. A window complimented the room. Hotel location was good. KFC, PizzaHut was near by. But Car parking was convenient.

not so good.. water heater come on and off.. not hygiene..

Ok value for money..

The Hotel has rooms which are to small and suffocated, the Porch and Elevator area is smelly. Room are available at Cheaper price but not worth to the Price. Towels are not clean and even Bathroom doors don't locked. Also all the attractions are away from Kuah no point staying their

Pros: - Located at short distance from jetty terminal - Shopping mall & few restaurants close by - Helpful & friendly staff - Free Wifi only on lobby - Air Condition Good & Daily Housekeeping Cons: - Rooms small & not justifying the photos displayed on travel portals - Average breakfast quality - Far away from Airport, Pentai Cenang & North Beach. - No wifi in rooms - Standard Rooms have no view

We stayed in the main building 4th floor family room, no doubt room very spacious but the room is equip with only 1hp of aircond...the moment we enter the room, it is like a sauna room, the aircond need to run for more than an hour only we can feel the cool air...can you imagine the 1st day we bought our chocolate leave in the room for a day, and it melted... This is not all, the window and the door is not sound proof. We can hear the lift sound and the car sound from outside..nearly a very late midnight, I can hear the upper floor compressor/machine sound running too... Other than this, breakfast is ok, not many choice but acceptable. Location is convenient as KFC and pizza etc is nearby. The hotel even got the car rental itself; parking here is not an issue. Overall, I won't stay here anymore. There r many hotel/apartment in Langkawi...
