Location. Location. Location. Close to everything! We were very happy with the customer service. But we were totally impressed by Celeste, at the concierge. She was excellent! Helped us with a lot. From suggesting places for pintxos to where to go for sight seeing.

Magnifique hôtel très bien situé et avec une vue remarquable sur la plage de la Concha. Une impression de faire un bon dans le temps mais avec tout le confort moderne. Nous reviendrons!

Unfortunately, several issues negatively affected our stay. We found someone else’s hair on a supposedly clean towel, which immediately raised concerns about housekeeping standards and cleanliness. The room also had a strong smell coming from the soft furnishings and carpeting, which triggered my allergies. I specifically informed the hotel about this issue, but the response was to spray air freshener in the room. Unfortunately, this made my symptoms worse rather than improving the situation, and no alternative solution was offered. The allergic reaction persisted throughout the remainder of our stay, and I was still experiencing symptoms after returning home. We were also kept waiting at breakfast and only received assistance after raising a complaint. Although the breakfast charge was refunded, the experience was disappointing and should not have required a complaint to be addressed. In addition, we received incorrect parking instructions upon arrival. The documentation required for parking was not provided when we dropped off our luggage, and we were later told that we should have returned to collect it after parking. This created unnecessary inconvenience and confusion at the start of our stay. We also experienced a very loud noise from the air-conditioning unit during the night, which woke us up and disrupted our sleep. The noise later stopped on its own, making it difficult to demonstrate the issue when reported. While some individual complaints were acknowledged, the overall response did not adequately resolve the issues we experienced. Given the price of the accommodation, we expected a significantly higher standard of cleanliness, comfort and service.
