A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppy, beaches and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. Great restaurant and chef with a good menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner also serving alcohol. Guys in the restaurant very helpful and made us feel welcome - a big thankyou to Lee and his colleagues for looking after us so well. Google maps does not realise that highway 66 is on two elevated sections of flyover, so you cannot access the property from the flyover by the beach - you have to navigate through the adjoining Cullen or Palace roads to the beach and hotel under the flyovers.

Nice location on the beach. Interesting traditional architecture. Very supportive staff. Rooms basic but ok. Restaurant with a great variety of food. If I would travel again to Aleppey I would lodge there again.

Aleppey's main highway is just over the hotel.

Beautiful old colonial place with amazing furniture, nice cafe and lovely pool

The room was very nice, beautiful furniture. Bathroom spacious and clean. Breakfast very nice - lots of choice. It’s nice that there is a pool to relax, there are other nice sitting areas outside too

The beach is not one of the nice Kerala beaches and the hotel is now under a new flyover. We wanted to book a backwaters tour and thought reception would do this but we were sent to ‘Finishing Point’ without any idea which place to select.

Terrible location. A double fly-over is being built outside the hotel, over the existing busy road which runs right outside the hotel. So very noisy. The beach is very disappointing, ok for a walk if you don't mind all the traffic noise but certainly not to sit on or for a swim. The room was ok but not very clean and unless you ask, you don't get clean towels, have the room cleaned or the bins emptied. Go to Marari Beach instead!

Room was very comfortable, well kept, clean, great air con, plenty of hot water for showers. The staff were brilliant- very helpful and friendly.

Nice location at the beach, clean pool, good size rooms, very nice staff, great restaurant.

There is a highway overpass right in front of it. Its does not give noise complaints tho.
