Freundliches Personal, die einzige Unterkunft in Climbach, die wir hier finden konnten.

Mit drei Personen mussten wir zwei Zimmer buchen und lagen damit schon bei 170 Euro ohne Frühstück (15 Euro p.P. - haben wir bei der wunderbaren Boulangerie 100m weiter eingenommen). Das Abendmenü war gut, am Ende mit einen Getränk dann aber nochmal bei über 100 Euro für drei. Nicht wirklich familientauglich, aber wenn man nach Rother Wanderführer läuft, eigentlich alternativlos.

"Homey stay and town"

Climbach is a cute, small untouched town with very little amenities like store, gas station, restaurants but our hotel had a meal room where you can reserve dinner for your party to enjoy. The set meal was appetizer, entre and dessert. The cuisine was very typical german, rumpsteak, porkloin.

Overall the dinner set meal was homestyle, however the beef cut is only rump and it was not cooked correctly. Medium is different i guess to different cultures, the toughness of the meat was the kind you need to chew 20-30 times before you can swallow. It is too bad, sirloin, prime rib or steak is not a choice of cut in Europe. If you want to improve your restaurant, provide some other dish.

Good Location, friendly host. The room was clean and had a good size for two. There was even an extra bed behind am alcove. Bathroom seemed rather recently renovated. We had a nice dinner here as well. Very recommendable.
