"Really Nice !!!"

8.0

Nice place to spend a good time or just have a break near the swimming pool. Good deal : to book at the same time access to swimming pool and lunch ;). Good price / quality rate. Better to arrive early.

"Decent boutique hotel"

6.0

Decent boutique style hotel next to the sea with a clean swimming pool. Good Wi-Fi and pleasant service from the staff. Located next to the UN office and a French military base. As hotels go in Djibouti, this hotel is pleasant and functional.

"Good Hotel for Djibouti"

8.0

Decent hotel for the price we paid.Much cheaper then Kempinsky and Sheraton. The swimming pool a bit noisy but has a view on the sea. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they help us get around town

"Hotel not worth the value you pay."

4.0

Don`t go by pictures as shown on website, Stinking rooms, Broken furniture,Toilet/room has cockroaches & Mosquitoes, Broken Commode, Although they have Pool but not in use, Breakfast doesn`t have many choices and anything asked for,is charged extra.Lot of mosquitoes on the food kept there.Totally unhygienic. Although they portray it as beachfront but actually it is not so, small portion of sea touches it but that is not accessible like any other beachfront Hotels. It has a free Wifi but has to be connected time n again to access which is annoying. Overall not a good experience and would not recommend anyone.

"Nice hotel"

6.0

Very nice hotel in Djibouti. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a nice swimming pool outdoor, but sometimes is nosy and full of kids. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is not much to do but i think it is all right for a short stay.

"Great Location"

6.0

The hotel is close to the ocean and one could have a good view of the ocean ... If not hidden behind the new construction in front. Some of the staff are friendly and very helpful but others not so much. If you want late checkout you need to negotiate up front ... If not, you will end up in the lobby for hours.

"Decent boutique hotel."

8.0

It's a decent hotel and gives you value for its tariff you pay! Since both Sheraton and Kempinski are exorbitantly priced in Djibouti, this boutique hotel offers the minimum facilities to a business traveller! The rooms are spacious, beds are clean. The shower cubicle is very small, one just can stand and let the hard water rinses you :) The wifi bandwidth is fine and is complimentary. I liked the visitors lounge, which gives comfort and a bit of privacy as well. The coffee shop 'Sankar' is fine and they do fix a very good 'veg-grilled-sandwich ' which is just like a vegetarian like me can enjoy! Don't expect too much of food variety and spread here. The only facility they have here is 'swimming pool'. The hotel raves about it and its brochures carries many photos of this! Yes, the pool gives some scenic sense and evening the guests gather around the pool. The staff are just about courteous and obliging. Djibouti being expensive, this hotel with minimal facilities offers right choice to a business traveller!

"Price to quality ratio (overrated) "

The staff was very friendly, but apart from that the hotel is far from being a 200usd ++ hotel.

"Quiet, clean, could improve"

6.0

The hotel can be easily reached from the airport via taxi. It is clean although not very well maintained. Lots of limescale in the shower but more than decent water pressure. There's no way that I could find to block the fan over the bed so if you're sensitive to noise that can be annoying. The hotel is quiet, good for sleeping and mattresses are on the hard side (which i personally like). Had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both - including a glass of wine. The hotel is on the sea well enough but I would personally avoid swimming. Swimming pool is there although not very big. The most annoying feature is the building next to it that seems to belong to one military base for staff accommodation. Their balconies all look into the swimming pool so self-conscious swimmers might be embarrassed.
