This is a decent hotel if you just need a place to crash. It has the necessities - bed, bathroom, storage, but nothing over the top. No central air / heating and on a busy street so be mindful of that!

We booked this guest house last minute due to our other guest house cancelling. We received a text message that we had been moved to a different guest house, in a new location, and that we were upgraded to a "superior room". The new location was on a busy, noisy street. the "superior room" had two single beds pushed together and a tiny bathroom, despite us booking a room with two beds and an en suite.
The location is absolutely superb. I had a good stay at this hostel. Please note it is a hostel and not a hotel. Do not expect five start towels or linen but for the price paid it was acceptable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and always happy to assist. So as far as hostel experiences go this was a good place to stay if you are one person and are not going to spend much time in your room.
The location was the best...close to car free street that leads down to beautiful entrance to waterfront, nightly street entertainment, close to Se Cathederal (start of Camino), close to Fado district, all transportation network, a lively area. Accomodation was basic, comfortable, comparatively reasonable price. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel room had a intense sewage smell through my stay. I notified to the person at the front desk the next day if my staying but I never had a response or solution to the issue. Unfortunately, I paid the hotel in advance so I couldn’t leave the hotel to another one. The libation is good, a bit noice but if you want to near the center it’s fine. But I won’t recommend to stay at this place. Sorry but no.
Excellent location as it is close to Rossio, where all the action is. Close to Metro. It is nice as it has a balcony. However, for this is not great value. It is expensive as the room is very small, no elevator so you will have to carry your suitcase up several flights of stairs, outdated, no frills bedding and below basic mattress with pokey springs like a dorm, shared bathroom. No AC or heat - you will have to use fan or space heater. It is good enough for 2 nights, but more than that... it will be very uncomfortable.
