A nice Jamaican run country pub
We only stayed for one night , the room was clean and tidy , nice toiletries in the bathroom and lovely large fluffy towels were provided. Bed was comfy , not too many plug sockets in the room for charging phones etc. It’s an old building so the floors are uneven and everything creaks. Breakfast was adequate, not a lot of choice if you don’t like a full English.
This place is closed on Monday & Tuesday so don’t expect any of the facilities advertised. You may or may not receive an email advising of this when it’s too late to cancel.
We realy enjoyed our stay. The proprietor, Jazz, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, arranging check-in time at our convenience. It is a little noisy on a busy road, but has good double glazing, was quiet between 11pm and 6 am, and with ear-plugs we slept very well and uninterrupted. Highly reccommended.
A real country pub with very comfortable en-suite rooms. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Jazz and Drixi are very friendly and helpful landlord and landlady.15 - 20 minutes easy drive to Glyndebourne.
Great, easy check-in with friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely rooms and the beds are super comfy! Had a really nice stay here and would recommend a visit... We'll be returning!
Proper small pub, quite basic, room however was quite nice, lovely bed with wonderful cotton bed linen, Soft bath towels as big as Africa, bathroom quite small but adequate, breakfast quite nice,
Food was absolutely delicious. Really Nice design of room down to the non obtrusive tv. A picturesque detour from the south down ways trail.
TRAFFIC NOISE LOUD
Lovely B&B, room was lovely, bed very comfy and staff friendly.
