Very good stay , room great and as I could not get breakfast as I had to leave early the next morning they made me a bacon sandwich - fantastic service.

Put in a room at the front of the hotel which was on the main road into Margate, subsequently very noisy with passing traffic. also lots of noise coming from the pubs lounge room below.
Reasonable rooms above a pub. Nice onsite restaurant that makes home made pub food and Thai food. Some good offers (doesn’t serve on Mondays). Lovely home made breakfast that you can choose to order cooked freshly.
Was expected to pay upon arrival, despite having paid up front through Expedia - member of staff who I explained this to did not seem apologetic even when I provided printed proof. I was given two keys, one for my room and another to get into the pub if it was closed: I was told they close at midnight on a Saturday, but I got back at five past eleven to find the place in complete darkness without any signage as to where to get in. The TV in the room did not work, and the other facilities were minimal. Only good thing I could say about the room was that you could not hear much noise from the traffic outside.
Rooms above a pub that are very clean and comfortable. Close to both Margate and Birchington and Westgate on Sea. Has a nice restaurant serving pub food and authentic Thai. Good 241 offers. Restaurant shut on Mondays but there is a good Indian restaurant right across the road. Nice beer garden. Excellent breakfast including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs that all arrived quickly which is good when you are working.
Really nice hotel. Great facilities for children in the garden area. Very comfortable bedrooms, Smart looking bar area and me and my family enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Only minor criticism for me was TV showing in the bar and just a few more games /activities. Maybe a pool table ....
