Splatthayes is a large, rambling old farmhouse style cottage beautifully kept and full of character, including the two hosts (apologies, I can't remember their names!) who clearly love what they do. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. Gorgeous made to order breakfast. Chickens in the well tended garden. The bed was really comfortable. Bit of a home from home really, Would definitely stay again.
A wonderful B & B where nothing is too much trouble for Douglas and Adrian. I had a warm and cozy room and a great English breakfast. I highly recommend a stay here.

I really nice and quiet place to stay Hosted great by the owners Doug and Adrian. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, Wifi worked well and I got my work done and sent easily.
OMG. What a fabulous place to stay. Doug and Adrian (the proprietors) treated us as though we were family. They were so friendly and went out of their way for us, could not do enough to make us feel more welcome. Loved the property and even walked around the grounds. Met Chandler and Boris (the cats). Our en-suite room was fabulous. Definitely recommend a stay here. We re-booked for next year already. One of the nicest places I have stayed. And breakfast was amazing.
I cannot praise this B&B highly enough. The owners were friendly and very helpful, the accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. What more is there to say!
