The breakfast was generous, fresh and tasty served by our friendly hosts. Plenty of cold options laid out to help yourself and we had bacon, egg, sausage, hash browns and tomatoes every day.

Brilliant location to Bridgend town...big room spotless clean. Great hosts and friendly had breakfast really nice ....superb 2 days will call again

We really enjoyed our stay at Hazelwood house. There guesthouse is located in a lovely setting with nice walks along the river locally. The site itself benefits from a large garden with a lawn, trees and shrubs. There was plenty of parking available for our 2 day stay. On arrival, we were checked in and given a very warm welcome by Tony before we went up to our room. We had a lovely room with a view over the garden, plenty of space with a very comfy bed and all the things you'd expect in a room - TV, fridge, plenty of sockets, hairdryer, ironing supplies etc. We had a lovely sleep in our very comfy bed and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. I would recommend Hazelwood house is you are looking for a quaint countryside stay. Very nice indeed :)

The property is dated but clean with comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and all the equipment you would need including microwave and mini fridge in the room. There is plenty of off road private parking and it is close to town and the outlet mall if you drive. Chilled bottled water is provided (large chiller in halway) There is storage space for clean bicycles should you need it. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The property is located right next to a very busy A road and there is no escaping the loud traffic noise even with the windows closed. If you are in a ground floor room you will hear everything from the upstairs rooms and outside your room. If you are a light sleeper I recommend silicone ear plugs. The bedroom is well lit but the bathroom could use a bit more light. The hot water was perfect in the morning but only warm in the late evening.
