Everything was good!

Horrible, the mildew smell is extreme. The humidity is so bad your clothes are wet in the morning when you put them on. Carpet damp and stained. Questionable stains on bathroom door. Hallways look and smell terrible. Elevator smells like a gym room. Just save your health and money go somewhere else. The door was so hard to get into you had to slam your body in it to open. Exhaust in bathroom didn’t work to even try to get humidity out from the bathroom. Floors are sticky. Outside of building and the lobby looks so modern and inviting but rooms on fourth floor for sure are horrible. Better off staying at a Bates motel.

The room was large and very spacious. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the bathroom door would stick making it difficult for my daughter to open. The staff was friendly and the room was clean

We initially booked a stay through American Express travel from 2 July 2025-11 July 2025. Circumstances changed and we tried to cancel the rest of the booking in-person at the hotel, starting around 8 am on 4 July 2025. We were told the front desk could not help us until the manager came in to authorize the cancellation, that we would be charged a $70 cancellation fee, and that we would likely have to pay for 1-2 more nights to make the cancellation window - all of this was acceptable. Unfortunately, none of this came to pass and thus started a Kafka-esque nightmare where no one can do anything without the approval of this manager who is impossible to get ahold of. We were able to return physically to the property once, have emailed the manager multiple times as no number has been provided for him, have called the property multiple times, have called big Hilton multiple times, have called Amex, and apparently nobody but this absent manager has the power to do anything. We were never able to cancel the room and have therefore paid for a hotel room we didn’t use for 7 of the 10 days. Nobody seems much interested in solving this problem for us, which means this is not a safe property for people to book. Whatever else can be said about this property - the rooms are old, the beds not particularly comfortable, the pool disappointingly small - the true reason nobody should book with them is that they are incapable of fulfilling half of their responsibilities as hotel proprietors. We are not the first, nor will we be the last, to need to cut short a trip, and while I can excuse some difficulty in getting ahold of a manager over a holiday weekend, this has gone well beyond that. Book at your own risk.
