The best b&b we’ve ever come across!! Absolutely Incredible! Tonny and David really do care about everyone that stays with them. They go above and beyond and there is nothing that’s too much trouble. We were there for our wedding anniversary and when we went to the dining room for the fabulous breakfast there was a card and some beautiful red roses on our table! Buck’s Fizz offered too. When we got back to our room after being out all day we found a bottle of fizz along with more red roses. We were gob smacked ! They booked us a restaurant for the evening and arranged our taxi.

David and Tonny were exceptional hosts, super friendly and couldn't help us enough to make our stay so special and enjoyable. We'd booked a short, 3-day break to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which fell on the day after we arrived. On the morning of our anniversary, our hosts had dressed our breakfast table specially for the occasion, which got our day off to a great start, together with the superb breakfast which followed. No wonder their breakfasts have won awards. Having spent the day exploring Torquay and the surrounding area, we returned to find our bed dressed in rose petals and a chilled bottle of prosecco, together with a happy anniversary card. Never received this level of customer service before! We stayed in the ground floor, Room 1, which was exceptionally clean throughout, as were the whole of the communal areas. My wife and I both suffer occasionally with bad backs, so the comfort of hotel beds is always a concern wherever we stay. We certainly didn't need to worry though, as our bed was one of the comfiest we have ever stayed in. Tyndale was one of, if not the best B&B's we have ever stayed in and well deserves its high score on Booking.com. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The best B&B we have ever stayed in we can't wait to come back! David & Tonny are the best hosts and every need is taken care of. The breakfast is divine, bedding & towels are luxurious, cakes are an absolute treat! Would highly recommend ✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️

The place is perfect to the tiniest detail, I wasn’t expecting make up remover pads for the ladies, tissue box on the bedside table, bathrobes and slippers, even a box of q-tips. The room is good sized, the really nice armchair and good quality TV with Netflix already logged in, choice of different pillows are nice bonuses. When we arrived we were impress immediately with how clean and pretty the hallway looked. The two hosts sat us down, gave us some welcome drink and offered a lot of useful suggestions on what to do and where to go locally. The location is great just a quick walk to the waterfront that is mainly flat. Breakfast is superb with homemade smoothie, homemade cake and a good selection of buffet items. The cooked meals were brilliantly done as well! My bf really enjoyed the cake treat left in our room everyday after cleaning. I also liked the fact that the dining area overlooks a small courtyard with some seats and a parasol that could be accessed anytime. Drinks and snacks are available in the dining room the whole day, we did have a cheeky glass of wine each while chilling in the courtyard one evening. David and Tonny are fab hosts, they were so friendly and made an effort to talk to us as much as they can to make our stay enjoyable. We have spoken to other guests who have been returning for years to this place, that does speak volume. We really enjoyed learning about their story as retired cabin crew members and I love looking at the little display shelf with the memorabilia from their career and youth. The best place I’ve stayed at! Almost forget to mention that we ordered takeaway dinner in our last night and the Tonny delivered it to our room with plates and cutlery - so thoughtful!

Nothing really, if I have to be really picky the courtyard is literally next to the road with traffic light crossing so if you want to just chill there for some peace and quiet it probably won’t happen because you will hear a lot of car noises even at night.
