Bumps in room were a tad small

A comfortable traditional hotel perfectly situated in town, with good local walks. Affordable in an often-overpriced area, with a warm welcome.

Beds really need firmer mattresses!

The hotel was centrally placed in Blairgowrie and, with plenty of good bus connections, provides an excellent base for accessing various parts of the Cateran Trail. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. There was a welcoming atmosphere and the breakfasts were very filling.

We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits. Bar looked good and well stocked although we didnt have a drink there as we were going to 40th party after our meal. Its a period building and right up our street, quirky style. Defo has character. Staff very nice. We paid for the breakfast which was excellent, the full English a good portion and served at time we asked for. We travelled with family who was also going to party and their room was great, roomy and 4 poster bed. Very good would stay again. Central location close to restaurants and shops and easy parking at back of hotel.

Couldn't book in until after 4pm. When my son and brother went to check in they were told the bar was closed on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We had booked for a Wednesday. It was very disappointing as we had arranged to meet family there to have a catch up as we hadn't seen them for many years. Therefore had to change plans with them all last minute. We had come from England. I personally never saw any staff until we were leaving the next morning, when three of them ran downstairs to collect the key.
