Location is fabulous for city centre

The room was excellent, reception staff were also polite and attentive.

I used booking.com to pre-pay the room for one night and didn't book a breakfast. After waking up in the morning I fancied a full English, hence got the time from the web-site and proceeded to level 5 for the restaurant. The young lady was very pleasant on the plinth at the entrance of the restaurant, I explained I need to pay and they said they have no function for this so breakfast will be billed to my room and I can pay at check out, all good as I'll be checking out in about an hour and a half as it's now past 9am, and was helpfully sat at a table. After I grabbed my food (which was good) a different member of staff ( lady with blonde hair) walked up to my table and unpoloilty interrupted me while I was eating and just said as soon as you have finished eating you will have to go straight down to reception and pay for the breakfast, In shock I stated that I'd just been informed to pay at check out (other guests were now looking over) and asked what the issue was, I was told I don't know SHE has told me to tell you after you finish you must go straight down to reception and not to forget! This was the end of this vile interaction and as I finished I went straight down to the reception and paid, the young lady seemed shocked as she thought I was checking out but was not. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had from any hotel team member, when politely questioned they used the term SHE has told me to tell you, who is she? In this interaction. It's a good job I'm not thin skinned as anyone else would have felt criminalised as if I was there for a free breakfast. After further discussion with the helpful receptionist it seems that pre-paid rooms without breakfast from booking.com are closed accounts hence they can't attach them to the room account.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely location with great views from the restaurant and Electric bar.

No mini fridge in the room.

Awful Stains on bedding. No water in the room. 2nd towel hidden away in the top of the wardrobe. Overpriced for very basic room.

Everything bar the parking

The car park was very very small for being a larger hotel in the area

Stayed here few times before. Then really great place. Got a parking space. This time, just not very good at all.

Only at hotel for one night. Lovely room at start. One of the hottest days of the year, but thankfully, aircon working so cool mid afternoon. Popped up to sky bar and Marco pierre whites, got back to room, aircon displaying error message. Sweltering night with a Zepelin sounding fan in room. No fix for air con but got a really noisy fan. Asked for alternative room, but fully booked, evidently. Awful stay. 20% discount offered and just accepted. Should have asked for more. Sad situation, but should have been sorted.

Stayed a few times now, excellent hotel, good location and clean. Ideal.
