"Obstructed Ocean View"

Perfect location, gorgeous setting. The hotel itself needs a major upgrade (i.e. decaying wood around the pool area; cheap, unattractive room decor). Looking shabby with the years. The personnel were friendly enough but we felt we were being fleeced at every encounter & transaction. So-called room-with-an-ocean-view had a ceiling overhang that obstructed half of the view. Restaurant menu was sparse, food quality mediocre and quality to price severely lacking. We were very disappointed overall with the experience. We would not go back to this hotel.

"Morpions/La Galle"

Très jolie emplacement, mais ça s'arrête là. Personnel suffisamment sympa mais service radin, souvent lent, et pas très efficace. La nourriture était OK mais pas plus et très peu de choix. Mauvaise gestion en général. On ne se sentait pas comme des client mais comme une vache à lait. Tout était organisé pour maximiser un profit au lieu de maximiser notre bien être. Et le pire, on a attrapé la galle du lit. Dégoutant. On conseille aller chercher ailleurs pour un meilleur expérience d'hôtel à Nosy Be.

"Gemütliches Hotel"

Der Aufenthalt war sehr entspannend, ruhig und angenehm. Der Garten ist sehr schön zurechtgemacht, Die Menschen ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Strand wird täglich frühmorgens gereinigt (Seegras). Die Poolanlage klein aber fein, Der Blick auf die kleine Nachbarinsel Nosy Sakatia sehr beruhigend. Die Küche mit täglich wechselnden Menüs und der Auswahl Fisch/Meeresfrüchte oder Fleisch herrlich. Der richtige Ort, wenn man etwas Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Preis Leistung sehr gut.

"Incredible and lovely attention to detail"

I found the hotel's decor very attractive. The dark lacquered wood on the main hotel walkway, kept up immaculate created a luxurious feel. The room was a good size, it was spotless and the terrace overlooking the ocean was superb. The decorations in the room and the main lobby were outstanding. The toiletries in the bathroom however, were inadequate and did not correspond to the status of the hotel as a spa. I could not use them. The personnel overall were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very good, too.

"Strand nicht schön, Hotelteam nicht hilfreich"

Das Hotel ist OK, mehr leider nicht. Das restaurant is schlecht, Weinkarte schlecht. Das essen muss man in manchen fällen bis zu 24 Std vorbestellen.....keine kalte Weissweine, kein Champagner. Frühstück ist nicht Gut. Strand ist nicht schön. Die Angestellten sind zum Teil nicht ausgebildet. An der Rezeption spricht man nur Französich.

Hôtel situé dans un cadre très beau et calme. Chambre nettoyées tous les jours, service très correct. Peut-être à améliorer, le choix des activités proposées dans le cadre de l'hôtel. L'hôtel travaille avec une société spécialisée qui propose à ses clients un grand choix d'excursions et d'activités, mais bien que celle-ci soit très performante, cela demande un budget relativement important dès que l'on veut participer à des activités en dehors de l'hôtel. Même problématique dès que l'on veut sortir de l'hôtel, celui-ci étant assez éloigné des différents centres, on est dépendant des taxis, ce qui, outre l'attente dans certains cas, engendre là aussi des couts supplémentaires. A prévoir peut-être un système de navettes gratuites régulières vers les principaux centres.
