Gorgeous location. Great view from our room. Good food, although quite expensive. Friendly and helpful staff.

Well maintained and comfortable property with excellent views and shared amenities with Lilianfels resort adjacent. Very solid welcome and reception assistance. Dining room has some work to do - limited options and could use more direction on the service front - very green staff. Mains were well prepared and beautiful presentation but appetizers and accompaniments had been prepared in advance - delicious warm steak with chilly potatoes, and expertly cooked scallops had cooled down.

The hotel is unfortunately grossly over-rated. It used to be good but has now been taken over by a consortium that owns and runs Lillianfels, Hydro-magestic and another. I was informed there was a Tesla charger at the sister hotel next door and upon arriving and needing a charge they showed me a power point. I had not taken my charger as I was assured there was a Tesla charger. There were in fact 2 x Audi chargers (one was not working) but no good to me. The next day upon returning to our room after being out the door had not been shut properly and anyone could have gone in. The staff were very apologetic but this was pretty bad. The bathroom was very un-user friendly with a shower over the spa tub and no safety railing to hold onto. One had to be careful not to slip. The TV was useless and did not have any foxtel which again with a hotel of this calibre it should be available. There were no power points either side of the bed for charging devices but they were across the room which was very inconvenient. The staff were very polite but a lot is lost in translation. The hotel did not include breakfast and for the enormous nightly tariff this should have been included. On a positive note the restaurant must have had the best food and presentation I have ever tasted.

The location was fantastic , Staff were fantastic but with there accents very hard to communicate with, this was the biggest drawback Everything else was lovely

Smelt like sewerage walking to our room in the building and there was not even a car spot for me to park my car after paying quite alot for a room i had to park my car 2 streets up in a paid public area after certain times.

Disappointing that the restaurant and bar were closed on Tuesday.

The garden room we were given at echo boutique had no privacy as other guests looked straight in the room as they roamed the garden in front of our room. That part of the garden should not be accessible to others. We were moved to a lovely room in Lilianfels as a result of our complaint. The restaurant at echoes was superb in every respect.
