Hotel Villa Maria Pia

We had a wonderful stay, very well cared for. The hotel is run directly by its owners which gives the place a very special character because both they and all the staff are very friendly, attentive and helped us with everything we needed. We definitely want to return. On that part of the Amalfi coast, Praiano is the place to be: it is not as crowded as the other towns and has beautiful views.

We enjoyed our stay . The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Our was big and the view of the coast from our room was magical . The bartender at the bar is so pleasant and helped us out a lot his drinks were also so good. The hotel is about a 20 min drive to Positano and Amalfi . The walk to the beach is about 8 mins and there are 2 restaurant options by the beach which were good

Super comfortable and great views. Has its own pool, quick walk to the beach and bus stop right outside. The room was clean and staff helpful

We loved everything about this property! The views from our room and the restaurant were amazing! The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay! The dock on the property made all of our boat transfers so easy and accessible. Loved it here! We would definitely come back and recommend this place to all of our friends and family!

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful view and handy pool. The small private dock is great for a swim and to get a taxi boat to nearby Positano or Amalfi.

Besides the breakfast which was very nice, the hotel food isn’t great but plenty of other options nearby. Also we were disturbed on the first night by a loud guest - not the hotel’s fault but the soundproofing in the rooms isn’t perfect. Also ear plugs are conveniently provided.

This was the perfect place for our stay on the Amalfi Coast. The hotel is located in the middle of all of the main attractions on the coast and the pier makes it incredibly easy to take a water taxi or get picked up for boat tours. The views from the hotel terraces are beautiful and it is far more quiet than some of the busier places in Positano and Amalfi. The hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful and even gave us a ride into the town of Praiano for dinner and picked us up after dinner. They also helped us organize a number of different tours and car services. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back someday!

Very nice room furnished in Italian style, clean and comfortable. Wonderful see view. Wonderful breakfast area with see views, nice breakfast. Access to the sea along the stairs. Quite nice private platform for swimming and sunbathing, water taxi opportunities to Positano or Amalfi from there, nice cave next to the platform. Private parking lot for a fee. Bus stop nearby the hotel with very convenient buses to Positano and along the Amalfi coast. Price quite OK for Amalfi coast. Everything was perfect.
