Hotel Beau Site

Accommodated in a old-fashioned and poorly maintained annex behind the main building .Apart from the bathroom, which had been renovated to an acceptable standard, the rest of the accommodation was less than BASIC. Beds uncomfortable, carpet stained, room musty. Wooden balcony in dangerous condition. Apart from one staff member at reception upon arrival, others absolutely indifferent to their clientele. Fantastic location but plenty of other equally well appointed hotels so AVOID this one..

We were in absolute awe of the location.The hotel is quite old and well kept up staff were very good..We want to go again to Lake Annecy.

This is a nice hotel in a fabulous location. Please note that this town is a pretty quiet area of the lake. The views from the hotel are stunning. The hotel is on the lake. The hotel itself is a little tired and worn. The rooms could use a facelift. The public areas and the dining room are quite nice with large windows to take advantage of the views.

Absolutely amazing place, we had a blast of a time there! Place is amazing, stunning lake views, lovely room, fantastic breakfast included, private beach by the lake, pool table (2 Euros a game), fussball (1 Euro), darts and blackjack table available. All in all amazing place, best one I've stayed in so far. Only downside is getting there, as it's quite remotely located, so if you're not driving might struggle a bit, but there are definitely bus connections from Annecy.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Beau Site very much. The location is fantastic right on the edge of lake Annecy but away from the hassle and bustle of the city. The staff were very friendly and very willing to help in any way. The room was always cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was delicious. And to top it all off the views are spectacular!

Unfortunately we arrived on new years eve and the village restaurants were either closed til february or full . The hotel had its own restaurant so we thought we could eat there but that too was full even for the hotel guests. There were no tea making facilities either maybe that's an english tradition ha ha,however the scenery was beautiful. We felt the hotel was used more by the french locals than foreigners especially at this time of year , so gave us an insight to the real france not commercialised in that way it was an interesting holiday.

excellent hotel and facilities, good for touring annecy and surroundinh area. we would stay there again.
