Fisherman Hótel Suðureyri

This is a unique property in the center of a small fishing village on the main street. The central establishment is a refurbished building with the restaurant below. There are other buildings adjacent. The restaurant and rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. It was clean, warm and decorated. Staff were fantastic; the reception, the chef and the person running breakfast were great. We had a very enjoyable stay!!!

My family stayed for 1 night in July 2025. Beautiful area, secluded and peaceful. Pros - Large room size, a nice breakfast. The fresh warm bread was amazing!! Cons - very limited parking. No elevator, this is listed in the accessibility section under property amenities.

Chambre spacieuse, lits confortables. Endroit calme, belle balade à faire en bord de mer Le restaurant en face des chambres dans lequel on prend le petit déjeuner mais où on peut aussi dîner. Super petit déjeuner.

Lipsa televizorului din camera. Micul-dejun saracacios, fara niciun preparat din pește, desi firma se ocupa cu industria pestelui. Nu am putut sa ne bucuram de aurora care a fost prezenta pe cer din cauza iluminatului public alaturat foarte intens, insa nu este vina pensiunii. Nu am gasit loc de parcare langa pensiune, ci mai departe, nu este insa un impediment major.

We’ve got a large room including bathroom with a large et very good bed. Very good breakfast. A good restaurant.

The cafe is has great fried Cod and tasty breakfast.
