Hospedería del Monasterio

The hotel is in a lovely location, very quiet, nice stroll into town. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed, it was lovely and cool. The WiFi worked well for us. Staff very nice.

We didn’t get the door entry code the morning of check in, it took about 6-7 calls to get this as contact phone number just kept ringing out. Eventually spoke to a lovely helpful lady and got it and everything was OK. The gorgeous pool is easily accessible but not officially open until June 1st (we were there May 21st). We think a bit more flexibility is needed in this as it was 35oC, a dip in the pool would have been nice. Even respecting the pool opening times, there was NO shade at all in courtyard, no parasols, no shade sails, nothing. The chairs were made of metal with no cushions so couldn’t be sat on even if we had shade! Basically the beautiful courtyard was out of bounds to use. Breakfast nice, but quite limited (toast, croissant, coffee) but lovely serving staff.

De rustige en mooie omgeving

Wij ontvingen geen check in codes, dus konden niet binnen. Tijdens de rit naar het hotel, hebben we 4 keer gebeld. De 5de keer werd pas opgenomen Er werd gemeld dat er iemand aanwezig was tot 10pm. Bij aankomst was er niemand en we stonden voor een gesloten deur. Gelukkig was er toch een poetsvrouw op het domein die ik kon roepen via een openstaand raam. Zij heeft naar de verantwoordelijke gebeld. We kregen toen pas een code om het gebouw en de kamer te betreden. Geen woord Engels spreekt met hier. Onze matrassen zijn zo oud als het klooster zelf en dus volledig doorgelegen. Deze situatie bezorgde ons veel stress, net datgene wat je niet wil op vakantie. We raden deze accomodatie ten zeerste af.

El baño habría Que reformarlo un poco. Al no tener ventana la luz es muy oscura y habría que cambiarla. También cambiar el wc que pierde agua y la bañera, que está muy desconchada
